B.C. nurse committed unprofessional conduct for transgender comments, committee finds

The crosswalks at one of Charlottetown's busiest intersections have been painted by the city for the first time in the pink, blue and white colours representing the transgender community.

A disciplinary panel of the B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives says nurse Amy Hamm committed unprofessional conduct for making “discriminatory and derogatory statements” about transgender people.
