Dalke, 27, was identified by family and team representatives as the deceased Roughrider. A large screen at Mosaic Stadium displayed a tribute to Dalke as players returned to practice in the wake of the tragedy.
Officials said emergency crews responded to the crash scene, and one other person involved sustained injuries. The extent of that person’s injuries and their condition were not immediately disclosed. Investigators are examining road conditions, visibility, and vehicle mechanical factors as part of the ongoing inquiry.
